The 2017 school year at Mellons Bay School will finish at 12.30pm on Thursday 14 December.


Have a wonderful summer holiday and for those returning we look forward to seeing you in 2018.

Fun Day - Tuesday 12 December

A reminder that the Fun Day for year 0 - 5 is tomorrow.  Please remember:

  • it's mufti
  • sunblock
  • 2 towels if swimming (years2-5)
  • Scooters and skateboards only for yr 0 (no bikes)
  • share lunches - no refrigeration or heating available
  • if you have volunteered please ensure you are on time to you designated area


School Lunches Final Day Friday 1 December

Please note that Friday will be the final day for school lunches in 2017.

School Pool Open - 13 November

Keys for use of the school pool are for sale at the office.  The cost is $70 with a $10 refund on return of the key at the end of the season.

New Zealand-athon Results

Thank you to our wonderful school community for you r generous support of our New Zealand-athon.  We raised over $18,500 which is amazing.  69 students received a spot prize at the special assembly. Please click to see photos

Our Team Supporting Ronald McDonald House

Cooking at Ronal McDonald House May 17Last week a team from Mellons Bay prepared meals to support the families with sick children and Ronald McDonald House.  Fundraising was through a mufti day gold coin donation so thank you generous families.   Judy Costello, Colleen Margison, Roxy Morrison, Hayley O'Dwyer, Pam Speight and Janine Wymer cooked for over 60 families, the meals are greatly appreciated by the families enduring stressful times.
