Please note the new uniform shop and second hand uniforms will be open on Tuesday 27 January from 10am till 3pm.

Uniform Shop Open This Week 7th and 9th December

The uniform shop, at the back of the school hall, will be opening this week.

This will be after school hours to abide with the health and safety requirements at present: Tuesday 7th December - 3.30pm to 6.00pm and Thursday 9th December - 3.30pm to 6.00pm. Please wear a mask if you are coming to the shop, scan in on our QR codes and be mindful of social distancing.

The uniform shop will also open on Thursday 27th January 2022 - 9.00am to 12noon.

Alert Level 3 - Bubble Request

Auckland in Alert Level from Midnight Tuesday 17 August.

17 August 2021 -

The Government announced tonight that the whole of Auckland will move to Alert Level 4 for the next 7 days from midnight tonight.
 
That means that you need to keep your children home from school for this period.
 

Walking School Bus - Information Meeting - Thursday 19 August - 2.30pm

Parents and caregivers are invited to a meeting in the stafffroom about starting a walking school bus.

Thursday 17 August - Staffroom - 2.30 - 3.00pm

A walking school bus is a group of children who walk together to and from school with parent supervisors along a set route.

 

 

Teacher Only Day - Monday August 23

School will be closed to students on this day.

Apolgies for any inconvenience caused.

Out of Zone New Entrant Enrolments 2022

Enrolments for new entrant students to begin school in 2022, will close at 3pm on Wednesday 13 October 2021.

If a ballot is required, this will be done under Police control on Monday 25 October 2021.

On Sunday at Bucklands Beach Intermediate, students from Mellons Bay School and Miss Jacab (Room 19) were part of the gunge action on the What Now TV programme.

Our Team Supporting Ronald McDonald House

Cooking at Ronal McDonald House May 17Last week a team from Mellons Bay prepared meals to support the families with sick children and Ronald McDonald House.  Fundraising was through a mufti day gold coin donation so thank you generous families.   Judy Costello, Colleen Margison, Roxy Morrison, Hayley O'Dwyer, Pam Speight and Janine Wymer cooked for over 60 families, the meals are greatly appreciated by the families enduring stressful times.
