Ensure your child attends every day they are well enough
Contact us as soon as possible if your child is absent

Work with us in partnership. If attendance becomes a concern - together we can solve it early
What the School Will Do
Track attendance daily and follow up unexplained absences
Let you know if your child’s attendance is dropping
Share attendance data each term
Offer support to remove any barriers to attendance
Work with external agencies when needed

What Happens and When
0-4 DAYS
The school will follow up and
record absences
5-9 DAYS
Class teacher makes contact with
you to offer support
10-14 DAYS
Deputy Principal makes contact for a meeting
and to offer support
15+ DAYS
Principal meets with parents.
Other agencies may become involved
