Course Details
Students are integrated into normal classes and become involved in the day to day learning of that class. Each student will be assessed upon arrival at school as to the level of English tuition required. Pupils will be removed from home classrooms as necessary for extra tuition from our staff that specialise in English tuition. This teacher will also maintain liaison and support with home and has access to other specialised support as needed, e.g. internal grievance procedures. For further information on the NZ Curriculum view the Ministry of Education website here
International Learners are offered extra tuition in English to assist in their integration into the school.
The tuition is delivered by a trained teacher to small groups of students of similar ability. The school rules and expectations of International Learners are the same as for all students.
