Important Change to End of Term 4 Date 2026

Since our Term dates were published earlier in 2025, the Ministry of Education reduced the number of days we have to be open this year, in order to accommodate our two Ministry designated Curriculum Days. Therefore, the Board has approved that our last day for 2026 will be Friday 11th December rather than Tuesday 15th.

Fruit Snack Time

This year we are introducing a fruit snack between the start of the day and morning tea. The Fruit Snack is a key part of supporting student energy. We kindly ask that you provide a small portion of fruit or vegetables that your child can manage to eat completely in 10 minutes.

For example, a handful of grapes, a few carrot sticks, or a few small cut-up pieces of fruit would be ideal.

Helpful Tip: Please place this snack in a separate container from their main lunchbox. This simple step will be a huge help, especially for our younger students in Whānau Māhuri, to quickly identify their morning food.

Please see the notices in ‘Other News’ further down.

School Pool Keys will not be for sale during Term 1 2026.

Enrolments

Enrolments for new students can now be made online.

We invite our current families to submit an online enrolment application for siblings who are due to start at our school in 2026 as soon as possible.

Please go to ENROL - Enrol with Us - and follow the steps.

After-School Playground Use

All students are expected to go home promptly at the end of the school day, unless attending a supervised school activity. For safety reasons, students are not permitted to play on the playground after school unless supervised by a parent or caregiver. Thank you for you co-operation.

Student Medications 2026

Please ensure that any medication required for a student throughout the day is sent to the Health Room and not kept in student’s bags. A Medicine Authority Form is required to be completed and signed by a parent.
